Montblanc Meisterstuck 100th Anniversary 1906-2006 Mechanical Pencil

Look - I love Mont Blanc. My regular pen is Mont Blanc, and I've had several of their pens and fountain pens over the years. I have been OK with spending a bit more just because their pens are beautiful and because I remember these pens from my childhood.But almost $400 for a mechanical pencil? Get a grip guys! At least with the old fountain pens, cheap ones did not work, and Mont Blanc fountain pens used to slide so smoothly on the paper... But a mechanical pencil? I can buy one that works precisely the same for the price of a cup of coffee!You know...in these disastrous economic times, spending this kind of money on a pencil smacks an awful lot like a Wall Street bonus.
