Earthwise CS90083 8-Inch Replacement Chain Saw Bar and Chain Set For Model CCS30008, PS40008, CPS40108, CVPS41008, CAM32008 Chain/Pole Saws

I modify this unit to use on my Black and Decker 20 volt pole chain saw.Reason:The B&D chain saw bar tip was split open after 3 hours of usage.The replacement is no better same design with a hard nose.This bar has guide rotor at the tip to help the chain move reduce the pressure at the tip.This picture shown is incorrect. The back end of the bar where the adjustment located is connected.To modify: (I waive the warranty and modify at your own risk. )It is not perfect fit. The adjustment slot is wider and longer.I cut and open the back end to allow the bar fit inside the B&D. Drill 1 holes to fit the adjusting screw.Works great. They both made by the same company, OREGON.This Earthwise bar is like the professional bar similar to my STIL chain saw.The B&D bar is not! Wish they fix their bar and provide customer an upgrade part.

Bought this over a year ago, and finally installed it on my pole saw. Easy to do (although the directions could have been a bit bigger for us older folk) and it worked great... I think I will buy another just to have a new blade for when this one gets dull.

Needed a spare saw bar and chain for Earthwise PS40008 8-Inch Electric Telescopic Pole Saw. This is a hard to find item in the local hardware stores and even on the internet. Tried getting it from the manufacturer, but no go. This is an exactreplacement for the PS40008 and discovered it was exact replacement for all Earthwise 8 in. saws.

I ordered the chain and bar set and received a chain only. I contacted Amazon and they stated to return the chain and they would send a replacement set. I received the replacement set today and once again the order was incomplete -- chain only. I contacted Amazon and was told to return the chain AND their policy is not to send a replacement more than once. In the meantime Amazon has marked the item unavailable and I was told to order from someone else.

Had a little problem with this order, received the wrong stuff but was quickly replaced with the right stuff. Ordered this bar and chain as a spare for my HB Pole saw so can't tell you about how it fits or works since I haven't used it but it looks nice in its package.

This bar and chain was easy to install and works perfect
