The camera overall is pretty good. I think my only two complaints is the camera's battery isn't the greatest. I think I used it for a bout an hour and it was about halfway dead. The microphone is also a bit crappy. It kind of sounds like you are talking thru a can. But the video quality is pretty good. Hoping to find a microphone attachment for this maybe to improve audio quality.

I bought this camera for my husband as a birthday present. When I received my package I charged the camera to see the quality. The picture was good but when you zoom in it starts to get grainy. I think it is great for the price, but you will need to purchase a memory card.

I finally went on a trip and videoed it. Easy to hold and use. I now will try to transfer to disc to watch.

I was asked last minute to order this camcorder to videotape a wedding. Needless to say I am returning this item as I write this review. To start with the camcorder only accepts 32GB SD cards. Any other size errors out. The video and audio quality are horrible and not 720 HD. Honestly, My Galaxy S4 shoots better video than this camcorder. Any movement by the subject is jittery unless they are standing perfectly still. Same goes for panning and zooming.Bottom line, I'd give this half a star if that were an option.

Get what u pay for but does the job

This camera is pretty on the outside. Then we opened it up and followed the instructions to charge the battery for 6+ hours before using it. Excited to have fun with the camera we proceeded to the next step, turning it on.... BUT NO SUCCESS. Then we decided to try a new battery and are currently waiting for a replacement to see if that is the problem....
