These four inch, non-electronic, hand-held toys come in 12 colors, with one of the 8 play-actions: talking, light-up, spinning, magic motion, movable action, hover disc, water-action, or pachinko. Each toy comes with a removable gold or silver cartridge which is required to activate the play-action. The cartridge is inserted at the top of the gameboy. The Pokemon character on the cartridge is then visible in the gameboy viewscreen. Each mini-gameboy also features a compartment in the back that holds a collectible Pokemon gold and silver character. (molded onto a rectangular tile)
