I am not yet sold on its awesomeness.
I have been using LEAN DESSERT brand in Whipped Vanilla. This was less calories and a better value, so I figured I would go with it for those reasons and also because I can adapt to taste differences fairly well. The LEAN is definitely superior taste-wise. It's also superior when it comes to consistency, and that is the major problem here. Every morning, I put some water, Amazing Grass, protein powder, and some additional Spirulina into a shaker cup with a couple of ice cubes and just shake it up and go. This morning was my first time with this powder and blech. Clumpy nightmare. I am sure it works out great in a blender, but I go to work pretty early and a blender in my apartment would disturb all of my neighbors (and require more cleanup for me). I did get some shaker cups with those wire whisk balls, so I'll see if that makes a difference, but I have a feeling it'll just clump to the whisk. If that helps, I'll update and continue to purchase, because the taste isn't a dealbreaker. If not, I'm going back to LEAN.

I like this flavor, but it's very sweet when with a fruit smoothie or green drink.
I find this flavor a tad too sweet, but my husband likes it, so I guess it's just a matter of preference. I mix this powder into green drinks (spinach, cucs, celery, fruit, water, greek yogurt). Since I'm already adding fresh fruit, I just don't need the protein to be so sweet. I haven't tried it with just water (or milk) yet, which might be more preferable. I like it enough that I will continue to drink it and then may try another flavor, from the same brand.

True Vanilla flavor but definitely sweetened. Mixes GREAT!
Cellucor consistently makes great products in general. I particularly like their whey protein because it completely dissolves in water with minimal effort. I can stir it with a spoon into a cup of water at my desk at work for an afternoon snack and it keeps me feeling full until dinner time. Although I am not a body builder who requires large amounts of protein I struggle to get the recommended amount as I am not a big meat eater. I like meat it just isn't easy to always prep and eat on the go. Tastes great. I like the whipped vanilla flavor the best if I can find it. Not to artificial or chemically tasting like some are but it is definitely sweetened. I am ordering the S'mores flavor now and will review that flavor once I get it.

I really liked the flavor of the Vanilla Cellucor whey
I've been using the same whey protein for 2 years and wanted to try something different. I really liked the flavor of the Vanilla Cellucor whey, however I was a little bit disappointed in the mixability of this protein powder. But overall when taking into consideration the amount of protein, minimal sugar and the flavor, this is a decent product as long as you use a blender bottle or something that will help ensure it's thoroughly mixed.

Taste....
This does not taste good at all! It has a very fake vanilla flavor! Nothing near a vanilla as one might compare to vanilla ice cream for example.... It kind of has a play dough smell.... It's just very fake... I just can't get past the taste. Tried baking protein pancakes with it too, in hopes of masking the flavor but nope! It's Just not for me.

Just a heads up, the vanilla has a funky taste to it. Not as bad as most powders but still noticeable. From the reviews I was expecting "the best tasting protein ever!".....it wasn't.

Great taste. I would highly recommend this product
Great taste. I would highly recommend this product. I use it in my coffee and blend it in the blender. I haven't tried just shaking it. Some reviews said it was clumpy that way, but I have never had that trouble. I have also used it in smoothies. It make them taste great.
