Vanguard MCC 22 SD Memory Card Case

My husband is a videographer, so he really utilizes this case. Depending on the length of the job, he fills multiple memory cards. So far this product has served him well, as this was the second time purchasing this particular case. Functional, durable, stylish. Good price!

This memory card case is advertized as holding 12 SD cards. It does a good job of holding 8 cards, but the plastic leaf in the center is a joke. The cards will consistently fall out of the four slots provided on this leaf.. It does well with the other 8, well enough that this is the second one I bought. I've tried others, but this is well made of metal, not plastic, and the latch has worked OK so far. I would recommend this case until a better one comes along.

I had ordered a Delkin Devices 8 SD Card holder and while it was very rugged and crushproof, it did not hold the SD cards in place and they would fall out when i opened the case. This Vanguard unit is not as sturdy, but it's more than enough protection for me. Plus it holds 12 cards and is thin (hence less rugged, but more compact).

This product is poorly designed and basically useless. The memory cards will not stay in the recesses as designed and this is particularly true of the center page. It appears that it would be a very easy design fault to fix but until it has been fixed DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! However, I am having no difficulty returning it to Amazon and the process was very painless and professional.

A good sturdy plastic case, that I feel comfortable throwing in the glove box. But, the inside swinging door is hard to pry open. If I had long fingernails it would help. I'm not going to grow some nails just to open this case nor carry a knife to pry it open. If you throw the center door away it works okay but you lose 4 slots.

I bought this case to help wrangle my multiple SD cards into one location rather than just stuffing them into the small pocket on my camera case. I looked at several styles, and ultimately settled on this one because of the storage capacity and the fact that it was a hard case and I felt it would provide added protection.Overall the case is great. It does exactly what you want it to do. Some of the slots are more difficult than others to remove the cards from, but you really aren't using this as a quick turnaround carrier, so that shouldn't bother you. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a good, solid case for many SD cards.Happy Snapping!!Mike

This case is nothing amazing, but it does what it is supposed to at a very fair price. The slots hold the cards and the case is sufficiently sturdy and protects the cards. I don't think there is a similar product at a better price.
