This book is written in an exceptionally clear fashion which breaks up the issues into easy to understand sections
One of the most important issues facing all Americans is how to provide their families with dependable and affordable health insurance. That issue was complex in the past, and it is made even more difficult by the Affordable Care Act and the fact that it could be modified by a pending Supreme Court case or the newly elected Congress.Paul Z. Pilzer and Rick Lindquist have made issues and solutions much clearer with their new book, The End of Employer-Provided Health Insurance. This book is written in an exceptionally clear fashion which breaks up the issues into easy to understand sections, and then the book provides advice and tips on how to solve your particular problems. If you want to approach the problems you face in a simplified fashion, the information is there for you. However, if you really want to dig in and understand the entire process in a professional manner, this book has that depth of knowledge for you as well. In my view, both the business owner who is grappling with how to achieve the best way of benefiting her employees and the regular consumer can get whatever information they need about how to deal with today's health care insurance issues by reading this book.Let's face it, this subject is not what you'd ordinarily think of as a page burner, and I'm not saying that this book rivals Jeffrey Patterson or John Gresham. However, and this is going to sound like a back-handed compliment, if you think back to the very best textbook you ever had, one that broke down the issues in a way you could quickly organize your thoughts and remember the important details of the subject matter--that's this book. So my take away is that if you're struggling with what to do about your health care insurance issues, either on the small company or individual level, this book will allow you to develop the knowledge base you need without confusing you, boring you, or putting you in intellectual pain. All things considered, that makes it at least a small masterpiece.

The creation of the medical industry and the mess we are in.
This book gives a good history how we came to the medical prediction we are in now. This book also gives a good indication of who is making money on the medical industry. The answer to change the system is not easy but more importantly can we change the system. The book illustrates how the worker/consumer is taking a hit because the employer makes the decision. The book discusses the alternatives. As you read this book your age and personal experience will form your opinion. Look at the big picture.

As an employee of a small company, The End of Employer Provided Health Insurance, provided great insight into the struggles we face every year when our Health Care plan renews and we face year over year increases. I would recommend this book to anyone who works in a small or even larger company looking to save money, time and a headache every year.

riddled with problems and destructive of the best system on earth
Harry Reid, Ezekiel Emanuel, and (you're all SO stupid) Brunner have all said publically that employer insurance is going away. This whole Obamacare game to go to a single payer system is clumsy, expensive, riddled with problems and destructive of the best system on earth, and sadly will probably work. This is at least a way to work around things until it collapses entirely!

The future of Health Insurance. The book was informative ...
The future of Health Insurance. The book was informative but seemed to repeat itself several times. We are going to use Zbenefits for our insurance agency Section 105 plan and offer to other group health insurance clients.

Great Information
This book is very well written and has lots of good information especially in our current times of our health care crisis. It's difficult for many to get health insurance even from our employers. I recommend it.

The Zane Train has left the station...those aboard will arrive at the future of small business benefits
I am an independent insurance agent who writes both individual and Small Group health insurance (under 50 employees). Like all health insurance agents these days, regardless your politics, the ACA is the only game in town...so, my duty was to become as expert and knowledgeable as possible, and help as many people as possible achieve their best health insurance solution for their needs. What has become immutably clear is that when a small business Group agent makes an honest open statistical analysis of most small business employee rosters, they will discover that in a significantly high percentage of cases, when that employee population would largely qualify for Premium Subsidies, and Cost Sharing...and when many have dependent spouses and children ... they are not nearly as well served by a Small Group Plan as by a section 105 HRP (Health Reimbursement Plan)--I mean both the employees and the employers! Zane is a true Game Changer that benefits small business and their employees.I read this book after already being an active advocate of their product & message...I found Zane while doing my own research...and I am pleased to report that the company these authors founded and run- Zane Benefits-- is an exceptionally well run and user friendly company that has truly developed a "better solution" for small businesses of virtually all kinds...and equally important is that Zane has done it all in spite of the most unbelievably complex legal, regulatory, and compliance circumstances one can imagine...and they made it simple, reliable, and affordable for the end user small business and his/her employees.I found their book "End of Employer-Provided Health Insurance" to be a somewhat dense and weighty read...but none-the-less it get's the job done in opening the publics eyes to a much better plan for both employers and employees. As a customer, I find Zane Benefit's actual corporate performance, follow through, and professionalism to be stronger than their literary skills in book writing...their customer service people are exceptionally talented and professional--the best I've seen across the entire insurance spectrum...and for sure its always easier to criticize than to create so my hat's off to these guys who have truly created a paradigm shift in the group health care world that is so important to our employees, small businesses, and indeed our National Economy.Zane simply makes a better product...it's proprietary and they own the leadership position because they earned it with their brains, their investment, and their product development...they are taking flak from every direction by competitors stooping to any means possible to slow them down...fat chance...the Zane Train has left the station...those aboard will arrive at the future of small business benefits.
