Feels good on my skin and zero irritation honestly

My skin looks noticeably brighter, and my pores appear smaller. It helped control excess oil without making my skin feel dry or tight. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, which makes it easy to layer with the rest of my skincare. I also noticed that some old acne marks started fading faster after consistent use.

Truthfully I'm a little miffed. An influencer described this as a time release formula and I bought it without hesitation. yeah...boo. Lesson learned. Bc, there is nothing in the description saying that it is. I have no idea where she got that idea from...probably another influencer...you know how scientific these bobbleheads can be. But I got this on a Black Friday discount...so I couldn't be too mad. I'm worried about potential irritation bc this is double the strength of the OG niacinamide serum from The Ordinary. So far it seems fine. There's some additional ingredients in this serum...so maybe that will help keep irritation down. It's a nice light formula with no stickiness. I don't think the extra dye to make the serum appear plum color is necessary. Lots of ppl have allergies to dyes. For ppl with sensitive allergic skin...I'd be very careful around K beauty...and they often have long lists of plant based extracts that can trigger reactions. I can't speak to the brightening effect of a 20% niacinamide strength over a 10%. But if you are looking for a bit of a change for your niacinamide, this product seems to be worth a look as the texture is very nice. It is considerably more $ than The Ordinary and without the added benefit of zinc for oily skin and antimicrobial benefits.
