Anne Klein Sport Women's Durwyn Suede Knee High Boot

These are so sweet for such a good price! I love the "covered" heel backs. They are light and easy to put on. I often have trouble with shoes or boots digging into the back between my foot &'ankle, but these are soft yet have good support. Order at least a size larger if you are going to wear sox -- I wear cotton sox with mine (thicker than nylon or trouser sox, but not heavy winter sox.) I was very wary as "shoes through the mail" can be chancy .... I have narrow-ish feet but got the Medium, glad I did. Very smart looking. Upon closer examination you can see they are not the fancy high-price boots, but once zipped up (good zipper, btw!) they look smooooth. Not for heavy calves, but I zip them on top of my pants without any trouble -- stand as you put one on while your pant leg is tucked down snug into your sock, works wonderfully! No blisters either! Yet somehow they look good with nylons & a skirt. An "odd" grey-brown color that is a true neutral, matte, can be worn w/b black or brown. I would not guess they are suede just because they are very fine-grained. Not for skiing or really cold weather. I LOVE mine.

I thought long and hard about returning them, but because of the trouble, and because I liked the toe, I kept them and hide the fact that they won't zip at the top under my pants. Very disappointing!

The shoe can be casual or dressed up and yet all the comforts of slippers. They are a little big but that is common with my skinny calves and narrow feet, socks does the job for fit. Having the wedge, soft cushion and low heel it is for all day wear, great with my jeans tucked inside. Wish they came in sand color I would buy another pair.

So I've had these boots since December, and I have both positive and negative things to say about them. The plus side is that I got them for a great price on Black Friday, they're light, they look nice, they zip over my tights and pants, and they're comfortable to walk in. All great stuff. The downside is that they're definitely not super-high quality boots, hence the great price I got. For instance, the little "logo panel" on the tops came off within a month. They look fine without them, but to me it demonstrated that the boots are a little cheap. Also, the black stretch panel on the back has gotten very dirty with the wintry weather in my city, and water doesn't clean the stains away. I still haven't figured out how to clean them, actually, so they're looking a little gross. But I still wear them almost every day in spite of it. Solid 3 stars.

I was satisfied with my purchase. The boots are very nice, but I was a little disappointed with the fit. They fit looser in the ankle area than what I prefer. The fit on my calf area was great

These are absolutely comfortable! I could walk forever in them. They are just high enough to give you the long-leg look. If you live where they salt the snow, I suggest you spray them with something will water-repel or you will get a salt line that is hard to remove. I did not spray them and regretted what a Chicago winter did to them. But I like them so much I just ordered a new pair for the coming winter. You know they look good when your always getting compliments on them.

It is somewhat large, but I think I can deal with it.
