Speck Products MacBook Air M2 (2022) Smartshell (Cozy Pink/Cozy Pink/SweaterGrey)

I bought this to protect my new MacBook Air M2. It’s a rigid case and clips on easily. It’s translucent so you can just about see there’s a dark coloured laptop inside but it does the job. I took one of the Apple stickers and stuck it on the front to make up for the fact you can’t see the beautiful dark blue metallic shell when it’s closed. This case will undoubtedly protect it from knocks and scratches and preserve some residual value when I come to replace it.

The plastic in the case is brittle, cracks have appeared on the corners. The case stops the the Mac closing properly.

The next day after putting the top and button parts on, I noticed that the screen didn't fully close. After inspection, I found a warp right in the middle of the screen that put it in contact with the keyboard. I removed the top cover and the screen started to close normally. I went to Spek's website and in the review section, there are a number of complaints about the same issue. I do not recommend this product, please be careful.

Very good quality one of the best covers to protect against fall or hits on the go.
