I almost wish I needed another, but this was for one difficult spot in my closet. And if you're really fine tuning, see my mention of shoe bins here. Although the "wood" slats are artificial, they certainly look enough like it for my tastes. It's very nice. Assembly was effortless and self explanatory that I hardly had to look at the enclosed directions. Size: I'm a size 11 shoe wearer and bought clear plastic storage bins to hold my dress shoes. (Tough to find bins for big shoes). This shelving perfectly fits the bins, including the space beneath the lowest shelf. Trust me. I got possessed trying to find the right size combination of shelves and boxes for my big-foot shoes. The original cardboard boxes were huge. The bins are sold here on Amazon. Note these two things. I bought the 4-pack. The dimensions of boxes in the six-pack are for smaller boxes. NOTE ALSO. The measurements in the product heading are wrong for the 4-pack. The seller confirmed that the dimensions in the PHOTO are right. 10" wide instead of 7.5, so 14.25"x10"x 5.5" is correct. It's what's on the photos.

Purchased this shoe rack to replace an old wire shoe rack we had. Before purchasing the item, I verified the measurements to be sure that it would fit inside the closet located by the door of the apartment. The rack measured 27 inches wide, the inside of the closet measured 29 inches wide, therefore, I ordered the item. Assembling the shoe rack was fairly easy, you just put each shelf in the frame and press down until it clicks. Done. The shelves are sturdy. The shoe rack is very firm and stable. However, (here comes the but part and please don't laugh) when I tried to place it in the closet it did not fit through the door. I did not account for the measurements of the frame of the door. So, I tried to insert the shoe rack diagonally but, again, did not take into consideration that when you have shelves that are 27 inches long by 13 wide, turning it diagonally does not fit either (I am laughing about it now but I was not laughing then). So, I took out the 3 shelves, placed the frame inside the closet and then assembled the shelves again inside the closet (heavenly music playing in the background). We put all our shoes in it. We had more shoes than shoe rack so there were some still in the floor, but overall, very sturdy, steady and looks good. I purchased the single pack because, comparing with the 2 and 3 packs, I save some money. Two of the single packs will cost $59.98 vs the two pack's $59.99 (only one cent difference, but you get my point). The three pack compared to three single packs will cost you $70 in comparison, so order in single packs if ordering more than one. So, I think we made a good purchase. Good price, looks nice and does the job. I would recommend this item to other people (just pay attention to the measurements).

And they aren't. How many items have you purchased, or even seen, on Amazon with no one star reviews? I think this is my first. At least my first of an item with hundreds of reviews. So does a $25 plastic and metal shelf deserve all those five star reviews? I was determined to find out, so I bought one. It came quickly in a compact box, well packaged. With a small bag of parts. First, I cut the straps securing the shelves and frame. The sides are hinged to the back. Quickly unfolded, the shelves fit in the frame with a little pressure to give a nice, secure fit. Put the four small plastic plugs in the top of the frame and it's done. There are four feet that screw into the bottom that are adjustable for uneven surfaces. But, what's this? Unscrew the feet and screw in four small metal posts, and the shelf will stack nicely on a second unit. So, I bought a second that arrived quickly and assembled just as easily. Each set of shelves will hold three pairs of shoes or sneakers placed side by side, or can be placed top to top making room for six pairs a shelf. So you can get between nine and eighteen pairs on a set of shelves. I stored them side by side so got 18 pairs of sneakers on the two sets of shelves. But I have more than eighteen pairs of sneakers. So in goes another order for my third set of shelves. Assembly was obviously the same, but my next discovery was the shelves tilted away from the wall slightly now that my shelves were about five feet high. Quickly remedied by screwing in the adjustable feet, my trio of shelves now stood perfectly on the floor, and flat against the wall. All ready for almost thirty pairs of sneakers. So, any drawbacks to this item? The price, maybe. But once you experience how easy these go together, and how clean looking they are, $25 becomes a bargain price, even if the shelf slat are plastic 'wood look'. The stacking capability is a valuable bonus. And the adjustable feet seal the deal. Now I have only men's shoes, duh, because I'm a guy. I guess a woman could store her heels if placed sideways on the shelves. So, advantage shelves again. They get five stars for looks, five stars for assembly ease, five stars for function and five stars for....... well, they're just worth five stars all around. If I wanted I would have no trouble stacking a fourth set and feel secure that the shelves were, too. So with over 300 five star reviews, no one star reviews, and a pittance of two and three star questionable reviews, the others are indeed correct. This is a no brainer for shoe storage. Buy a set, or two, or three, and you will not be disappointed. If by some odd chance you get a set that are nicked, bent or scratched, you know how quickly Amazon will rectify the problem. I am delighted with my three purchases... Just out of curiosity, I did a search. Thirty six pairs of shoes, sneakers, and slippers. And that's just what I bought from, or through Amazon.

I was looking for something sturdy and stackable for holding many adult shoes and these hit the mark. Really great quality product and so easy to assemble. I even assembled one of them inside a closet and it was easy and now fits nicely wall to wall. I bought 3 and highly recommend.

I wear size 6 (sometimes 6.5 depending on the brand), and this shoe rack can actually fit 4 pairs on each level. Very functional and great design (I love its color especially). Easy to assemble and it’s sturdy.

Good and strong, I feel it won't bend under the weight of shoes ( as cheaper racks I've owned have done)

This product has a black metal frame with light-brown bamboo slatted shelves. Some of the pictures on the site show a dark coloured wood but I am glad I got this as it looks good in my hall. It was very easy to assemble -- took about 5 mins. I bought two and although they are stackable I prefer to site them side by side. Special screws are provided for those who want to stack them and although I haven't tried it, I would say that that is a viable and safe option. Each shelf of the rack comfortably has space for 3 pairs of men's size 9 shoes. I am very pleased with my purchase and impressed with the rack's compactness, sturdiness and smart appearance - it even has adjustable-height feet!
