Condo use… investment TBD!
The only problem with this is that a lot of electricians don't know about this product. Even went to YouTube..., Youtubers are so excited to get this product because it's the first time installing it. I have a very experienced license Electrician, who did my set up, but unfortunately, I'm in a condo and we could not get into the equipment room to actually turn off the power at the source to test it. So I have actually yet to test it, however, I do live in a high wind area, in the Santa Monica mountains, and they often shut off power to prevent fires in the hills, so I probably will only use this 10 days a year, but I haven't been able to test it yet, which is kind of good news that we've been safe here but bad news in the way that my electrician is unsure how it's going to perform cause it's such a new thing to invest in, especially at about $3700 or whatever I spent plus another 800 (friend price) in labor for the install installation (about five hours). Again, it's a back up unit, I shouldn't expect to use it every day, I do not have every day solar hooked up to it, so I don't expect to get more than a day and a half or two of efficient battery power use once the fully charged battery goes out, but at least if I'm out of town, my fridge isn't gonna smell like a garbage dumpster when I get back a few days later and then I can hook up a second anchor unit to my fridge. Once this goes out, I also invested in the Anker solix 3000 was solar panel… So that just sits plugged in as a second back up since I can't regularly hook up solar… So I have two backups, and I have a solar panel, but I haven't been able to use it and don't plan to use solar panel regularly because of HOA, except maybe once something happens I can wire it up and lean solar panelagainst my sliding glass door while the balcony gets a few hours of light. Being that I had to install it in my master bedroom, because as most condos, the breaker is in the hallway or a bedroom, at least it's a good looking unit, ITS QUIET!. I've noticed a little dust building up on the vents after three months, but that's an easy brush vacuum solution to that. So that's my condo review.

Wishing I waited for the F3000 Plus
I like how easy it is to install for my critical load panel to automatically switch over in a power failure. The actual so f 3800 will not update even after contacting customer support. Also the newer unit F 3800+ allows you to use larger solar panels than the F 3800 is a bit disconcerting as well as some of the software fixes that couldn’t be performed for one reason or other
