It’s purple! You will notice reviews saying that the paint color is purple and when you open the can, it is. And when you brush it on, it is purple. But when it dries, it’s a perfect match to Ebony - no purple hint whatsoever. We used the paint to coat some outdoor furniture that had chips and in some cases had just worn off. Went on smoothly. For bare metal, we sanded and had to apply 2 to 3 coats to fully cover. But very happy with this product.

Very nice paint but should use two or more coats to get the smooth finish you might want. The finished product is very durable and washable.

Extremely good product, covers wood-but requires 3 coats. Good cleaning up. No smell it's thick but you need to apply 3 coats on bare wood. Ease of application-depend on weather conditions, but overall extremely good coverage, but it takes time to paint a project.

This is great paint, it covers very well, even on plastic. I used it on fence posts, plywood, and doors, and I may try it on some concrete. I've provided a picture of my large plastic ealge I repainted the feathers with, that hangs over my garage, which was bleached out by the sun. I've been told that house paint has the best UV protection from the sun.

I deducted points for both cans being dented, but this paint is good quality and looks nice on wood doors, windowsills, and wood wall paneling. This paint is easy to work with.
