This flexible lifting shoe balances power and agility for a well-rounded CROSSFIT® workout. Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

Excellent Shoe for What It Is Intended For
As a powerlifter, I find they help facilitate the proper activation of the proper muscles even when one has musculo-skeletal issues (flat footed). The sole in very flat, and provides sufficient arch support. They fit as described, and I would recommend to another individual who is interested in weightlifting or powerlifting. FYI: Obviously, not the best cardio shoe.

Solid for lifting, decent for cardio
Great shoes for lifting while allowing for comfortable cardio/tabata/crossfit work. Provides a forward stance with slightly higher heel and flatter front similar to olympic lifting shoes but not as restrictive. Seems to be standing up better to heavy toe raises which normally destroy the front cushion of nearly every tennis shoe (2 months of lifting so far on these shoes). This version seems to be reviewing better than the newer/lifter plus/2 strap versions as of this review. Might be the best shoes since the Adidas "Feet you wear" shoes of the mid-90's in helping you feel connected to the ground during lifts without jumping to a true Olympic lifting shoe.

I think they feel great. Narrow and snug but comfortable
After about 8 months of doing various WODs in worn-out running shoes, I thought I'd try to setting on one pair of shoes for heavy lifting but that I could also wearing through various WODs. So, I gave the lifter 2.0 a try.Fit-wise, I think they feel great. Narrow and snug but comfortable. They don't hurt my feet at all. They feel very stable.Size-wise, I used amazon's 3d fit guide and they suggested a 10, which is half a size down from my normal running shoe size. Trust the 3D scan info; it works. In terms of practicality and usage, I've found that they aren't as good an all-arounder and I'd have liked. Yeah, you can lift in them but they are heavy enough that you won't want to really run more than 200m or do too many double unders or box jumps in them. I mean, if you have a workout with cleans and kettle bell swings, sure. But my thought of having one all-around shoe kind of died as soon as long rowing or running came into play. I ended up with a pair of Speed TRs for lighter days and I use them more on strength components and oly lifts. I like them for that BUT..honestly, I think if I knew I'd end up w/two pairs of shoes, I'd probably just get a dedicated pair of lifters and not some kind of cross-breed shoe like this. Don't get me wrong.... it's a fine shoe. If you are going to do anything in it other than lifting heavy, this works fine. But if you have the ability to change shoes between segments, then get something more dedicated with a firmer bottom that you'll use just to squat, snatch, clean, etc.

Great Lifting Shoes
I've had these for over a year and I absolutely love them. I wasn't too keen on the orange color but you can't beat the price. The orange toes do get dirty pretty fast but I just take an old tooth brush and a little soapy water to them and they are back to new. The heel isn't as thick as some of the other lifting shoes I see around but these work just fine for me. They fit well and definitely help me lean back and get low in my lifts.

Love them.
What a great deal. B/c of the size chart I picked my size in womens and was able to get these in Mens when they were on sale.I have never had lifters and I love these. I do not know how they would be versus a straight lifter shoe. These work great for my complex wods and strenght training.

very stable
i purchased these for weight lifting and cross training an use in core exercises. I did not realize just how effective they were at first, that was until I put on my running shoes after using these for some time. The running shoes felt like marshmallows by comparison. These shoes fit well and are very well suited for weight lifting. They are also very stable and great for use when mountain biking on open pedals. They feel stiff enough to efficiently transfer all your effort to the pedal.

i returned these shoes because they were far too narrow ...
i returned these shoes because they were far too narrow for my foot. Might fit someone with a narrow foot.
