Feels super smooth and comfy in your hand and its a nice compact size. The resistance feels perfect too.

This is pretty nice but I think my personal preference is still ProHands Gripmaster products. I bought a Medium tension Prohands maybe 10 years ago. I've used it mostly as a fidget toy at work while on calls or just reading and concentrating and have liked it for that use. I got this product because I figured I'd try it out. Overall I do like it. I would say the medium tension on this Stressgrip is more firm than my Prohands but there is a chance it could be because my Prohands is older and maybe the springs and tension break in after age or use? At any rate the one reason I don't prefer this as much to my Prohands is really the size and ergonomics of it when compared with what I'd believe to be the comparable Prohands model. This product is a bit smaller and you might see it lacks some of the curves. One thing this offers which I do appreciate is the pad that essentially joins the 4 individual pistons into 1 larger surface to press. But when you wish you can easily pull that pad off and gain access to the individual 4 pistons. I don't prefer using it without the pad because I feel like I have to crunch up my hand a bit more to set my finger tips on the pistons. Overall I still recommend this product if you like this company. But given right now on Amazon both companies have similar products at the same price, if I were asked which I'd purchase again I'd have to prefer and suggest Prohands unless you have a smaller hand and grip than me. If it's any help I typically fit into men's medium gloves.

so I have this self proclaimed "crazy" pizza guy that works for me. most of the time he looses his cool and has to go outside for some "recreational" time. its legal.. what can I do. that being said I ordered this product for him to use to see if it would help him reduce his "medicine" costs. b/4 I gave it to him, I tried it out in my girl hands. it fit just fine... it also fit fine in his manly hands. I mentioned that it had settings to adjust the pressure sensitivity, so we started looking for where the adjustors could be located. u have to peel off the bottom rubber piece and then u will find 4 plastic screws. u dont need a screwdriver to turn them u just use ur fingers. it makes it go from 8-12 pounds of pressure. he said 12 was pretty hard and then adjusted it back to 8... which I though was enough. I like that this is discrete when u r using it. those stress balls are just to big and they scream leave me alone! he used this all the way home that night in his car weaving in and out of traffic. (the drive is about 22 minutes.). he said he was using it so much that when he arrived home, he could barely move his hand... Id say that was way to much action on day 1. he now uses it, but more sparingly than b/4 and he said it helps with his anxiety. he also said he thinks it is helping his hand muscles to "bulk up". I hope this was helpful.

I purchased this for Christmas (which we celebrated on the 16th). My 13 yr old son (not strong at all yet) used it for less than 24 hours and it broke. I purchased this 2 months ago bc I shop early and now the option to return has expired

I ordered this for my husband as he has a high level of stress at his job, but he also has some wrist issues as well. I figured it would be a 'win-win' for him...help him relieve his stress and exercise his wrist at the same time. He didn't have a ton of interest in it when I first showed it to him. Since he works at home, I can hear him on the phone and when he's upset. After a particularly unpleasant call, I went into his office and set it down on his desk, turned and left. When he finished work hours later, he said to me, "That hand stress and exercise thing is pretty neat!". (I resisted the urge to say, 'TOLD YOU SO!' lol) He's used it every day (when working) since that first time. And it helps to both reduce his stress level/calm him down (VERY important since he has high BP!) but also helps strengthen the wrist issue he's been dealing with. He finds it comfortable, easy to adjust (the grip resistance) and easy to use. While we've not yet travelled anywhere, its small enough that it will easily fit in an overnight bag or even my purse. I was fascinated when I first heard about the StressGrip but I find it even more fascinating to see the change and reduced stress in my husband since he's been using his StressGrip. It definitely works for him!
