love this jacket! awesome value!
I purchased this jacket one size up and good thing I did. I love it.this coat it thinner than I was expecting but totally does the job.I live in the northern climates where its cold and windy. I also don’t own a heavy winter jacket as I will layer accordinglyWhen it gets cold I pull on an insulated vest to keep my core warm.A couple things I love about this coat:~the placement of the pockets. They are in a non traditional location, but while driving and seat belted I have instant access to reach in and pull something out.~the zip vents. While shoveling snow I can zip open the lumbar and arm pit to prevent overheating and sweating.~the hood. The hood is made to be able to reach back, zip and pull it on in 2 seconds.~so far, awesome urban winter jacket. Mild wind and moisture protection.~shockingly great quality.A couple things I wish were different:~The main zipper allows you a second zip from the waist up to your chest for accessing things you may have attached to your belt. This feature makes it a pain to start the zipper each time you put It on.~there are 3 layers of fabric on the chest due to the layering of awesome pockets. Awesome for warmth, but the back is still only a single layers and gets cold if im not layered properly.~the zipper for the arm vents. Put on a short sleeve shirt and this jacket and go out in the snow. You will feel the metal of the slider on your skin. Not a problem yet, but something I noticed.~OK this jacket was designed for LEO or MIL. im not. teh velcro on teh shoulders might need to get trimmed off.I might be using it a bit out of climate for what they intended, but at the end of the season if it holds up I might buy a second to put in deep storage in case they do something silly like discontinue it.

Nice design, but it doesn't breath and the zipper is weak
I really wanted to like this tacti-cool jacket. I've been wearing the old Condor/Rothco fleece jackets for the last decade, but decided I wanted to get something that has a bit of water repellantcy with the cool zippers on the sleeves; That was a big mistake! Here are the problems:1) Way too hot! It just doesn't breath! Even with the pit zips and rear cargo zips open, it's pretty much like wearing a garbage bag. After about 10 minutes of casual walking yesterday, in 55 degree temps, I had to strip it off, only to find my shirt pretty much soaked in sweat underneath. I don't have that problem with any other jacket I own, including snowboarding jackets and Gortex military jackets, so, as much as I love the look of the jacket, it is completely unusable for me. It might work for little skinny kids with no body fat, but for the average American guy, I say skip this one.2) Zipper FAIL! If it worked okay, I wouldn't complain about it. This zipper just doesn't e hwork very well, and I can see that if I actually was to use this jacket much, it would either break, or I would break it out of frustration. FAIL.3) Like many have commented here, that non-removable hood is like wearing a childs life preserver around your neck when it's zipped up, and a serious safety liability just letting it dangle. If I was actually going to keep this jacket, I would have cut that thing out a long time ago. And brothers, to be honest, there is just no way to "look cool" with that big thing around your neck... and I tried!So... I really hate to only give this jacket only two stars, since it is built well (aside from the zipper), but with it's lack of breath-ability, a bad choice of zipper, and a non-removable hood, the jacket is a complete and total failure. Shame, because it looks so cool!

Trim Cut but it works.
Its a good well made and well thought out jacket. The many pockets are good as well as the overall quality. The hand pockets are up high and you can wear a gun belt without covering the openings. I can almost give it 5 stars, but: It is a little snug in the shoulders. For a driver or swinging your arms it is snug. But I have had mine for over 2 years and it has stretched a little. Also it is cut a little on the trim side thru the body, but for wearing under a Plate Carrier thats ok, no extra bulk. I wear a Large and its ok with just a tshirt or Hawaiian shirt, but if its cold and fleece is needed I need a XL. The criticism I have given is minor. I will buy another when needed. I only give it in case there are others thinking of this jacket. I do recommend the jacket, Its a good Jacket for the money. I haven't found a Perfect Jacket yet, but I doubt if there is a Perfect Jacket out there.

Great jacket. Fast shipment
Great jacket. Fast shipment, arrived in small box folded flat. Quality is above expectations for cost and I'm glad I chose it over the more expensive options I had. Seams are tough, has tons of pockets and the hood enclosure is great once you figure out how to fold it in there right!Only "issue" I've had thus far is that I followed the MANY posts about up-sizing from what I normally wear... kinda wish I hadn't. I'm 5'11, 200 lbs with a stocky build and broad shoulders... I normally wear a Large and probably could've bought a large. Instead I went with the XL just in case and although it still fits, it is definitely a little baggy or "frumpy" and not as form-fitting as I generally like a jacket to be. Everyone made it sound like it the large was cut way too tight when compared to the XL, but still, I could stand to lose some room in this thing for sure... Guess it depends on your build and personal preferences. Wife says she doesn't think it looks too big and says it still looks great. Oh well, can't go wrong with the cost OR brand- I'll be ordering another one in a different color here soon. Best advice: Find one one to try on FIRST!

I can't say enough about this jacket.
Perfect Jacket for Nor-Cal!!! rain proof and not to bulky. The best thing for me about this jacket is the placement of all the pockets. I love the back pockets. Large enough to store gloves away. Love how the hood folds away when not needed. This is the perfect jacket for contract work, camping, work, anything tactical, or anything leisure. I also love the velcro on the arms. I work for a large city department & it's nice to show off our unit insignia.
