1st birthday gift for my son - great wagon!!
My husband and I wanted to get our son a wagon for his first Birthday. I was looking at the plastic ones with the seats, seat belts, cup holders, and everything, but then when my hubby saw this one there was no way we were going to get one of the plastic ones. Since my son is only 14 months old and a little guy I do sometimes wish it had some kind of seat belts or something, but he has learned to hold on and not to stand up when the wagon is moving. We throw a blanket in there for him to sit on to make it a little more comfortable since it is a metal wagon. The wagon itself is awesome! It looks great, love the red color and the wooden rails. It is built of good materials. My husband was able to put it together while keeping an eye on the little guy in the backyard, he said it was easy to assemble. The tires did have a strong chemical smell out of the box as others have reported but it only took a few days to air out and didn't seem to bother my son at all. Our wagon did not arrive damaged as others reported (not a scratch) so we were very happy about that. The wagon rides smooth, even over bumpy terrain (for a wagon). Its pretty comfortable to pull, and turns easy. It is heavy (its metal!) and will fit two little ones comfortably. The best part, our little man just loves his wagon. His eyes light up when we pull it out of the shed for him. He loves to push it around the yard, and he loves to take wagon rides. Rides in the wagon have become part of his evening routine: dinner, wagon, bath, bed. We wanted something special for our 1st baby's first birthday and this was perfect. I'm sure our son will get a lot of use out of it - helping dad around the yard and taking his wagon rides. I'm hoping it lasts him for many years!

Wagon
It arrived quickly and was easy to put together. The parts are well made.

Greatest little wagon ever made.
Love this little wagon so much I have two. I use them for my light gardening/yard work. But if you’re planning to buy one keep watch on the price. Don’t overpay during one of their big price jumps that they often have.

Do They Make These For Adults?
When I was 3 years old, I had a Radio Flyer wagon that took some major abuse from my friends and I. We constantly rode around in it and it just kept on going. Fast forward 30 years and I started looking for a similar wagon for my 2 year old. I came across this ATV version when I was searching for steel Radio Flyers. While it's not the same wagon, it's definitely been beefed up in all the right ways. The build is fantastic. Strong steel basin attaches to equally strong steel wheel structures. The wood that makes up the rails is high quality (pine, I think) that has a good coat of lacquer on it to protect from the elements. Putting together all the pieces was a bit challenging; but it turned out alright and took about an hour. The wheels are made of tough, dense rubber which should handle just about any debris. RF seems to have improved the safety of their toys too (or I had soft skin as a kid). There are no-pinch hinges and all the wood rails lock in with screws. The grommets that hold on to the wheels are tight and will probably NEVER come off. I had to hammer them on with full sized hammer. The bolts are not exposed and everything that might cause errant scratches is underneath the chassis. There aren't any buckles or straps to keep kids in, but that's not really the type of kid this toy caters to. My only complaint would be from my son: it's too rough-and-tumble (bumpy in his words). When going over sidewalks, there is very little suspension dampening so it's a bit of a butt-buster for small kids. I imagine he will grow out of that as he gets older. Conclusion: There are many wagons out there... there is a reason why Radio Flyer is still around and #1. Excellent build, quality experience. I hope my son buys one for his kids some day. Now if only I can get one in my size.

Slightly disappointed
I bought this as a last minute Christmas present for my two year old daughter to replace another box full of junk present that I had to return because it was hopelessly useless. When the box arrived it was busted open and taped up in several places. Not sure who's fault that was. Pulled all the parts out and laid them out on my work bench. Once I started putting it together I noticed that I had more bolts than I had nuts and there should be an equal amount according to the directions. No big deal, they were just 1/4 x 20 nuts and I had more than a few laying around my shop. One of my biggest complaints is the fact that every bolt uses a flat blade to tighten. It's 2012, we have much better bolt/screw heads available to use other than flat heads, just my opinion. All is going ok until I inflate the tires. Of course the very last tire, the very last task to complete and the valve stem is separated from the inner tube. It's four days before Christmas and the second defective toy I've received in a week! I don't have time to return this, so I drive half an hour to the nearest town (we live in the country) and hunt down a new inner tube ($6 not too bad), then drive a half an hour home. Re-seating the tire with a new inner tube wasn't brain surgery, but still a task I shouldn't have had to deal with from a new expensive wagon. All in all, I'm slightly disappointed with the quality control letting the wrong hardware and a bad tire get shipped, but it seems to be par for the course these days. Seems like 90% of what I buy needs work right out of the box if it has any hope of functioning. Now that all the work is done, it's a pretty nice looking sturdy wagon and I'm sure my daughter will love it for years to come. I purchased this item from Amazon, but I do not feel they are responsible for packaging the item and hardware, that is Radio Flyer's mistake. I've bought literally thousand of items through Amazon and I'm very satisfied with their customer service and return policy, however, this is a Christmas gift and I didn't have time to return it.

Radio Flyer wagon is great. Easy to follow instructions. The inside seating dimensions are 37” long x 15” wide; so plenty of room for our 2 grandkids. The side panels are easily removed. The large tires manoeuvre easily along our gravel road. Heavy duty construction appreciated. Highly recommended.

Este Vagon es de excelente calidad, fuerte y espacioso. Si quieres llevarlo contigo en auto requerirás un SUV. Hay que armarlo y requieres cierta destreza.

Tires are impossible to pump as the air nozzle does not come up.
