Great beginner camera with room to grow. Plenty good enough for professional work.
I bought the Canon EOS Rebel T7 with the 18–55mm IS II lens as my first step into “real” photography, and it has turned out to be a fantastic learning camera. The image quality is crisp and vibrant, and the colors come out looking clean without much editing. For an entry‑level DSLR, it delivers consistently good results, especially in well‑lit environments. The camera body is lightweight and comfortable to hold, and the layout of the buttons makes it easy to get familiar with the basics. One of the biggest advantages of the T7 is how approachable it is for beginners. The menus are simple, the automatic modes work well when you’re just starting out, and the camera gives you enough guidance to build confidence. But what really stands out is how helpful it is for learning manual mode. The T7 gives you full control over shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, and the feedback you get from experimenting is immediate and easy to understand. It’s a great camera for anyone who wants to move beyond auto settings and actually learn how exposure works. I’ve found myself improving quickly just by practicing with different lighting situations and seeing how each adjustment changes the final image. The included 18–55mm lens is a solid all‑purpose starter lens. It’s not fancy, but it’s versatile enough for portraits, landscapes, and everyday shooting. The built‑in image stabilization helps keep photos sharp, especially if you’re still getting used to holding a camera steady. Autofocus is generally reliable, though it can feel a bit slow when trying to capture fast‑moving subjects like pets or sports. Low‑light performance is decent for the price, but you’ll get the best results when you have good lighting or use a tripod. There are a few features I wish Canon had included, like a touchscreen, a flip‑out screen, and 4K video. These aren’t deal‑breakers, but they’re things you’ll notice if you’ve used more modern cameras or even higher‑end smartphones. Still, for the price, the T7 offers a lot of value and delivers quality that’s hard to match in this budget range. Overall, the Canon EOS Rebel T7 is a great choice for beginners, hobbyists, or anyone upgrading from a phone camera. It’s user‑friendly, dependable, and—most importantly—an excellent tool for learning the fundamentals of photography, especially manual mode. If you’re looking for a camera that will help you grow your skills without overwhelming you, this is a strong pick.

Great picture quality and video's
The settings are fairly easy to set. The assorted lenses that came in the package are of great quality. I enjoy all the "bells & whistles" provided on this camera. This camera will take exceptional pictures and video. Gives choices to have pics in jpeg or raw, or both. Taking pics in both raw & jpeg will useful alot of chip space. Entry level or pro, a great camera.

Good Canon kit
It's a Canon. It works. Battery life is great. I love taking pictures with it and have a lot of fun with it. The long zoom lens that this kit comes with is manual and if you are using it at long distances, be prepared to use a tripod. Zoom quality is good. I have not tested the Wifi connectivity. For the money, this is a good value.

Only 1 tiny piece in this entire kit that I won't be using a lot.
This is a camera best suited for Manual setting users. Autofocus on the T7 is extremely slow, and has been since it came out. Manual focus is much faster once you learn to use it that way. The rest of the camera settings are very easy to adjust, and the auto works reasonably well for casual shooting. Holding any long lens still, is gonna be hard without a lot of practice, but the 500 is actually a really good lens as far as image quality. This is what that monopod and that tiny tripod are really good for! The slave flash is pretty tiny. I guess it could be useful but I am not sure what I could use it for. If you are needing to shoot dim lit, you are going to have to invest in at least a >$100 flash. The case I received was a very well made and suitable Vivitar. The tulip hoods, color and UV filters fit the lenses tight and work well. Always install UV lenses and leave them as they will protect your actual lens from dust and damage! Over all, I am very happy.

Great camera and Canon lenses, accessories not so much.
The camera and Canon lenses are great. The accessories are not as good quality and take a little to figure out with no instructions for them. The flash does not work as it senses the flash on the camera to flash. I could not get it to sense the flash and when mounted on the camera the camera flash will not open. I’m not upset with the purchase but I would recommend doing research before buying any “camera bundle “.

Great package for beginner photographer.
I have had this for a couple months have had no problems. Haven’t had the opportunity to use all the accessories but feels like a great package for the beginner photographer who wants to get out there and learn! Everything has been wonderful quality.

Arrived quickly
This camera with all the add-ons is amazing! It's a great camera and I very much love the 3 different lenses that go with the body. I'm still exploring all the extra items that came with the package. It is as close a replica to the 35mm camera that I had so that I don't have to wonder what each setting does.
