wet n wild Photo Focus Dewy Foundation Rose Ivory

This makeup is better than any high-priced makeup that I've used. It has very good coverage and leaves my skin looking moist without being oily. I even use it as my eyelid primer without worry that it will cause my eye makeup to smudge. I have 2 very deep lines where all makeup will pool, but after about 5 minutes I can gently wipe the excess from those spots with a finger and the pooling is gone. I'm in my 70s and am frequently told that I have beautiful skin.

I ordered this in Rose ivory and I’m very happy with it. In the past, I have had to mix light and fair from more expensive liquid foundations to get the color that I needed. This was an inexpensive liquid foundation that was not only the perfect color, but it was creamy and hydrating. The coverage was good and it was buildable and blends flawlessly over my skin. I have tried so many expensive foundations, and I was never as satisfied with them as I was with the Wet n Wild creamy foundation.

I really liked the true pink undertone of the foundation, which can be really hard to find. Other products sit very well on top of this foundation and blend out nicely. Otherwise, some minor complaints would be that it's not as dewy as anticipated, and maybe not for oily skin. I have very dry skin and by the end of the day I had to reapply powder which is not usual for me at all. It wasn't a big bother for me, but I can imagine it would be a problem for oily skin. There is also a little bit of odd smell to it, but for the price I can't complain at all.

I was shocked how much i loved this makeup. Its the perfect color for me. It has amazing coverage, yet not heavy. Even covers my dark circles, and doesn't irritate by eyes or face. I do make sure my face is well moisturized or i mix with a bit of moisturizer. It stays on til i wash it off. I do lightly smooth over my creases a couple of times a day, not sure if others notice, i do. I don't have any reason to go back to MAC foundation. It was only brand able to have foundation to match my completion and skin type. I 1st tried the nude ivory, it was ok, tho a bit to warm, the rose ivory a perfect match. I was shocked. I had people around my apt community i don't often see comment how good i look. I'm hooked. I can put the $ i save not buying MAC foundation towards my shiseido skin care. I also love the waterproof eyeliner and brow pencils.

I am extremely pale and cool toned. This foundation (I got rose ivory for the pink undertones) oxidized on my skin and made it look a few shades darker and very yellow.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the color matched my skin tone. Having lot's of red in my skin, it's sometimes difficult to find a good color match. Also, was really pleased with the coverage. For the price point, I highly recommend this product. The longevity is great as well. Overall, I'm impressed.

I haven’t been tempted to buy a product from a brand called “Wet n Wild” since I was a young teenager, long ago. Frankly, the brand name is embarrassing. However, I bought this on a whim and am so pleased by the quality. For reference, I’m middle-aged and have sensitive skin that gets dry and irritated in dry, cold weather, and I’m also highly susceptible to acne from many skin-care & cosmetic products. I have fair/ light skin with cool undertones. After liberally moisturizing and applying sunscreen, I apply the foundation with a damp tear-shaped makeup sponge. I use the smallest possible amount that will even out my skin tone and adequately cover redness (I’d rather have some imperfections show than make my foundation look too visible & obvious). I apply the slightest bit of loose powder with a fluffy brush and then continue with the rest of my makeup routine. The coverage is great — it really is dewy, and as long as I moisturize enough and don’t go crazy with setting powder, this foundation doesn’t dry out my skin, look cakey or mask like, or do any of the things that are the bane of older skin. I can’t speak to its staying power as I don’t really examine my face at the end of the day, but it looks fine to me. Everyone’s skin is different, but at such a low price it’s definitely worth a try. Over the years I’ve used much more expensive foundations, and this one is 100% competitive.

Very good at blending in and not too thick!

I love this foundation! It feels light on my skin and a little bit goes a long way. It blends well and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky.

Pros: • Foundation blends very well. • Good coverage (not full) and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing foundation. Cons: • The application wand is unpleasant/cheap, there’s no guard controlling how much foundation is going onto the wand; it’s hard to control where you want the foundation to go when using the wand. The con doesn’t really matter to me since I never use wands and prefer using a separate brush to apply foundation. The product itself feels amazing on my skin and worth the price. I definitely recommend buying.

Love this foundation! Beautiful dewy skin look. Perfect for those who detest the "matte" look. I receive lots of compliments on how good my skin looks. Sheer and lightweight. Awesome price!
