Carter's Year of Photos Frame - Silver

I was able to compare a few of the 'year in photos' frames at a local store and later came back to order this one from Amazon. The holes for photos are just right for all the cute close-up photos and I love that it even has a space for 'newborn.' Love, love, love this item and I will be buying more as gifts.

Love this picture frame, this is the second one I have purchased in the last 6 years and I love it just as much. My only issue is they give you nothing to size or locate where the pictures go really. There is the background and from there you can get a guesstimate of where the picture goes but usually it is off a little. I always tape the pictures to the paper inside also so they dont slip and fall. This last time to get the size right I slid a piece of cardboard between the glass and the metal and traced the circle of the picture opening and then cut the circle to be larger than that from the cardboard and traced that on all my pictures before cutting and taping to the paper.

These are really nice, and the oldest looks as good now as it did when I first put it up years ago. It is a good size for display, but it does take some practice taking the picture so that the child's face fits in the space provided. I tape the photo to the back of the glass to keep them in place with a little clear tape. I enjoy these every day, seeing the growth of my kids in their first year, and taking the monthly picture has become a tradition for me. I have the child sit in the same chair each month and hold the same teddy bear. Good price for what you get.

Very shiny metal, almost looks like a cheap plastic.. but for the price I guess you get what u pay for..

This is good quality frame. Good purchase to preserve my little ones first year monthly milestones. Great as a baby shower gift too.

Very cute and bigger then ones I have seen however the medal is a very thin piece that's kinda flimsy.

This is a very nice frame, but only if you want to use it as a standing frame. It does come fitted with a hook on the back for wall mounting, but a half of a second after I hung it on a nail, the hook ripped right off the frame. Luckily I was able to catch the frame before it hit the floor. Now it is taking up space on a shelf. At least the stand works. :(

My first daughter was given this as a gift and I liked it so much that I bought it for #2. It is more traditional in style and does not have the modern lines of the rectangular ones that I've seen. My girls share a room and it works for the mix of styles in there. The other big reason I chose this one over the ones with oval/rectangular picture slots is that my babies have round faces. When you are resizing a picture to make it fit, i like the background to show evenly around the face as opposed to there being background above their head and the boundary right by their cheeks. I guess if you put a close up of their face with no background it should look nice. I love that I can see how my daughters face shape changed and which months she was chubbier.
