I've had the fridge for 1 month. We have a humidor in the top and wine in the bottom. Both unit's lowest temperature is 52. It will NOT go into the 40s even though the description and the owner's manual says it will. When I called wine enthusiast tech support they said to lower the room temperature to 72 degrees or lower or unplug for 24 hours and try again. They said the unit is NOT designed to go into the 40s. At this point, it's not worth sending back. But be aware if you purchase it and conserve energy at your house, 52 degrees is the lowest it'll go. (Odd since it is designed for sparkling wines to be on the bottom).

All in all a very bad purchase for a defective device
Product has two wine shelves. The lower shelf's digital display/control stopped working after two weeks. The temperature is stuck at 52 degrees (too cold for red wine). The top shelf functions OK but never gets to 46 degrees as advertised. Apparently,this unit was not supposed to be sold in California (Amazon didn't say that in advertisement or warn me). Meanwhile,Wine Enthusiast will only replace it IF we pay for shipping - which appears contrary to their stated 90 day warranty. All in all a very bad purchase for a defective device.

Didn't last long. Very dissapointed
Worked for a while then the top compartment quit. I saw some reviews that they didn't last long and they were correct

Stopped working well within months
This was a disappointing purchase. The bottom zone temperature (for reds) stopped working within months (no matter how low I put it, it stays at 74 degrees). The light is also not visible. Save your money and don't buy this.

I bought this vine cooler in December, in 5 months the lower cooler stop working at all, the warranty does not cover shipping cost to manufacture. We try to find the best solution to solve the situation. We not recommend this item , so expensive with poor quality.
