Liked: didn't have to spend $80 on a controller for my phone when I could use a perfectly good PS4 controller! Holds phone well, and the charging cable / table stand were a nice touch (though I've not used either). Disliked: minor annoyance: the rubber on the top of the clamp which holds the phone is a little loose after using it for a month and a half. But it was being used daily, sometimes putting the phone in/out multiple times in a day, and it's still sticking, just needs minor adjustment occasionally. Also, the other reviews mentioning they felt like they were going to break it getting it onto the controller...those are spot on! If I hadn't read them, I for sure would have thought something was made wrong. Actually, I was worried something was wrong even though I HAD read them! Thankfully it just lives on my controller; I don't think I'd be happy if I needed to snap it on each time. I don't though, so I'm happy!

Works fine. fits my larger Samsung Galaxy fine. I've dropped it twice and it survived. Totally happy with it. I do wish the angle adjustment just needed to be loosened from one side and not both so it would be easier to change with one hand but that's nit picky. I also wish it had some sort of kickstand built in to the back so that when I set it down the phone would stay upright. It might even be cool to have a separate phone stand where i could hang the phone without removing the controller (the little stand it came with is as nice addition but doesn't do that). But I can't fault them for this product. it's cheap, functional and as described

I'm really glad I went with this item. I did plenty of research and this was the best choice based on what I learned. Looks like it was a good decision. So far there are no negatives to mention. Note: this will not attach to the PS5 controller. It is specifically for the PS4 controller. Update (3/15, approx 1 month post purchase): Still going strong... Been using it every day since buying it, and no issues. My phone has yet to fall out unless I drop it or actively try to make it fall out by turning it face down and shaking it. Still works exactly the same as the day I got it, and I haven't identified any quirks where random things break. I would highly recommend choosing this specific product if you're using a DS4 (PS4 controller).

I played so many hours of Asphalt with this controller. It’s worth every penny you put into it.

I imagine that a lot of these individuals that reviewed that the "case doesnt work" did not know how to install the clip. It took me a good 5 minutes to figure it out (and some irritation) but apparently the bottom edge of the plastic shell has to latch over the risen lip of the top half of the shell. It is held in place by tension and does require some force to lock in place. Im not taking my ps4 controller out of it, because i feel if I repeatedly take off and install this case, the plastic will splinter or break.... rendering the mount unusable. I could see this thing breaking pretty quickly in the hands of a child/adolescent as it does feel relatively cheap. Care must be taken with it. The phone mount itself is pretty good, holds my XS horizontally just fine, played asphalt 9 on iOS for about three hours with no issues. If the phone starts to sink out of position, you can twist the side knob to apply more compression and keep the mount held in place.

With Apple Arcade being a thing now I quickly got tired of the fact that I couldn't play a game in bed easily because there was no place to rest my phone and hold a controller (so lazy right?). I finally purchased this guy even though a few of the other reviews on here drew me away a couple times. Honestly, I had no issues attaching this to my PS controller. I took it off and re-attached it a few times just to see what all the fuss was about, and how no trouble whatsoever. I am not sure where the disconnect is for people installing this, but it really wasn't that difficult. The plastic that wraps around the controller does feel a little less sturdy than the rest of the mount, but I get that. It keeps a lower profile. If the plastic was thicker I think it would make the controller more bulky and be even harder to install. I also like how the phone mount adjusts. It's not just a clamp that tightens down. There seems to be little notches inside that hold it in place. If you loosen it just enough it clicks as you turn it. This is totally worth it for the price and it's fairly comfortable. I will say that it can get annoying to hold after a while supporting the weight of the phone on the mount.

Not even too sure why I bought this initially. But I ended up using it to play mobile games using my PS4 controller. And you know what, its pretty great. The plastic casing attaches to the controller in a very sturdy manner. The phone clip held the phone very well as well. While you can't violently shake the whole setup and expect it to stay together, it does stay together very well. Definitely well enough to play COD mobile for example. Again if this is what you're looking for, mainly to play mobile games with a ps4 controller, then this is perfect for you. It's overall a simple and nice little piece of kit.
